I know i don't always see eye to eye with people in this room, i know i don't always get things right, i know i can be a little opinionated...
But one thing i am not is someone who will tell you you should look for a way not to live up to your financial and moral responsibilities...!!!
I sometimes run my mouth of without thinking too much before i type what i do...
But i try to give sensible, advice and correct advice, and certainly do not take sides...
I think there are some really horrible PWC and some even nastier NRP's and also a few NRPP's...
But i try not to judge too harshly, i try to give advice according to what they tell, sometimes it is not enough, and sometimes you just can't help because they don't really want helping just want to sound off about how bad things are... That is ok too....
What annoys me recently is that there appears to be people who are looking for every tiny hole in the system to have an argument, most of these arguments have already been had, a 1000 times, most have already been through the appeal, ice and judicial review process...
And after all of that, the CSA most definitely DO get things wrong just as much as they did before getting told it is wrong... But looking for and ranting on here about bits of legislation that cover most stuff is bugging me now...!
I have been through the ringer with the CSA, and after all the appeals i made, (i never went the ICE route) i decided my best course of action was through the county courts... They deal with things at the most basic level. They can see things far more simply...
Like did you pay too much, well it is a debt... Did the DEO expire, well anything after that is an unlawful deduction...
Stuff like that is very well suited in my opinion to the County Court...!!! And i do love a good argument in there i have to say...!!! It made my day when the CSA turned up MOB HANDED and got told they where wrong... And again when they told the Judge she didn't have jurisdiction about an injunction.. SHe simply adjourned for 8 weeks and told them to go away and think about who had the right to do what...
Anyway, as things stand in here right now, i don't think i am of any help to anyone, i get wound up because of whatever reasons... SO i will maybe come back and see how things are in the future, but for now, i won't be posting certainly as much as i was...
And if i have upset anyone, then i am probably sorry, but then i may not be...
But i have my reasons for thinking how i do... And that is all i have to say...
So it's been a pleasure trying to help anyway...

Why do you need to explain yourself?
I stopped doing that ages ago. I've been on various CSA forums in years past. I used to get into 'discussions' that went on and on in circles and got nowhere.
It's best just to give advice ( OK I know the other week I got drawn in:D ) so I, for one, would appreciate if you hung around here
People come and go...and if they go permanently...well let's hope we helped.
Edit: My last sentence could be misinterpreted. What I mean to say is if we don't hear back from someone asking for advice perhaps they sorted things out0 -
I personally don't have an issue with people arguing their point, in the end, I like some I argue with, some I don't seem able to! I have certainly disagreed with some about an issue to then agree with them on an other.
Nothing wrong with putting down your views and experience. What those reading it make of it is their concern. Help is not just about telling people what to do, sometime just sharing your own experience can be very helpful.0 -
I for one have always found your replies extremely truthful and helpful.
Not once have I seen any unpleasantness that wasn't called for.
Don't stay away to long. The CSA board won't be the same without you.0 -
I concur with all that has been said above. I know we have bumped heads a couple of times recently and I bang on a lot about legislation, but I would be mortified if my posts have contributed to you feeling the way you do and am really sorry if they have.I often use a tablet to post, so sometimes my posts will have random letters inserted, or entirely the wrong word if autocorrect is trying to wind me up. Hopefully you'll still know what I mean.0

Sorry to hear you are feeling so disheartened. A lot of us have gained some useful insight into the complex workings of the CSA from your experience & I thank you for that. You speak as you find which is quite refreshing and you can be respected for your honesty.
All the best,
Cally0 -
That would be a shame. You often have good, sound advice and altho you and I have doffering opinions occasionally, I hope I havent said anything to upset you.0

Just so you all know, none of the above or others that have been around as long as i have, have done anything to upset me...! So don't think you have... And i may well change my mind, just for now this is how i feel...! I will probably still read the forum on a regular basis anyway, just not be posting...!!!0

I found your advise useful and the others who helped with my query. If it wasnt for people like you on here we'd get no where :-) BIG THANKS0

so sorry to hear your taking a sabatical kevin, i dont always post, although i do read a lot
,,, however, i find your posts, to be very level headed and fair.
We all have our different views and understandings of the csa,,, it would be boring if we all felt the same, however, dont stay away too long.:)0 -
