London-girl, I live between two Wilko stores, one had bargains ages ago, one never did.. Seems to depend on each one.0

I work at Wilkos and there has been a steady stream of gardening reductions over the last month. 3 weeks ago all the seeds went down to a penny a pack - all gone now of course. 2 days ago things like spades and rakes reduced to £2.50.
Bargains I've spotted at the mo are barbie electric toothbrushes for £2.95 (formerly £10), and a stationery line which is being discontinued. It is black with a flower design and consists of various types of notebooks/folders/pencils/pens/pencil cases etc. Around half price at the moment, may go down to silly money soon when they have a day or two to get it off the shop floor.
My local also has princess Blox sets down to £1, very handy for stocking fillers etc, and some duck/cow cuddlies down to 75p.2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -

Reading only had the seeds at 50% off yesterday so I am envious of those who get them at a 1p0

I got some Hayfever/allergy pills, wilko own brand, 7 day supply, for 15p.
In one store they had them in the 'bargain bit' with a sign for 30p, but scanned at 15p, and they had just the Cetirizine type.
And in another store, they were with the medicines, and the shelf sign said 15p, both Loratadine And Cetirizine types.
Date is, I think, August next year.
Edit: the date is December 2016!0 -
my wilko has been pretty bad for bargains this year i normally pop in to buy my cleaning stock and pet stuff and check bargains but i found poundstrecher this year to have good gardening bargains and it has a pet store inside now0

Thank you EVERYONE for reporting back. Missed out the last time when my local had reduced the seeds at 1p a pack as I was at work. Can only get to the town centre once a week
as I'm working. Would be nice to know when Wilkinson's do reductions, if there's a certain day in the week??????
I always try and pop in when I'm in town, the staff alone working there, are amazing, all bubbly and chatty, a really good customer experience:)0 -
Interesting about the 1p seeds. In my local Wilkos if anything scans at 1p they will not sell it. They are not allowed to. The other day I was buying some stationery and a pen scanned at 1p, I was told I couldn't buy it by the cashier.
Incidentally, the seeds are 50% off in my local Wilkos.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.
one life, live it!0
