Hi all,
Wondered if anyone had any advice. In 2005 we were in the process of buying a house that had been reposessed by Barclays bank. We payed a couple of thousand pounds for seaches etc and all was going ok until the day before we exchanged. A call from our solicitor said he had recieved a fax from Barclays to say the lady they were reposessing had come into some funds and they were giving her the house back.
Any ideas on how to reclaim the money from Barclays?
ps now 8 years on there is still nobody living in the house!

you cant. It is one of the risks of buying a house.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
And what's more it was 8 years ago, and so the Limitation Act applies, and any claim would be statute barred.0
