Why are Tax Credits so low?

Does one of the children live elsewhere?

Also are they using last years wages not this years?

You should be getting far more

And sorry but you'd save over £20 pw (£80 pm) if going on to pack up's so you need to swap. Make a pack up they like. Mine take left overs from tea (cold pasta), wraps, salads etc. They don't like fruit, a yoghurt, drink and a sandwich?

As you both work very few hours you can easily make a cooked hot meal at home time.

you wouldnt get JSA if you stop working just through choice. you would be sanctioned for upto 26 weeks.

many posters have asked of you have applied for working tax credits as a couple,
why your child tax credits are so low
have you claimed housing and council tax benefit.

so far you havent answered these questions.

i lived with my parents and my girlfriend got nearly £200 in housing, working tax and child benefit. now i moved in, they take more off her than i earn. so even paying every penny towards bills, dosent cover it.
yeah we are on the best gas and electricity deal. its very cold here in the winter
There's something very wrong here, you should be getting a lot more than £63pw CTC if you only earn £10k a year between you. Was your income last tax year a lot higher? If so you can get this year's payments based on an estimate.

Have you put your details into the calculator at the Turn2Us website to see what that thinks you should receive in supporting benefits?

As we have said your TC are too low.

However, you have now added an extra £40 pw to your income that you didn't disclose in the first post.
