I must admit for an e-commerce operation I just wish they could apply the discount on the order.

I placed a large order with the 50% discount code using my debit card. The total amount of the order (i.e the 100% amount) was "pre-authorised" and reduced my available balance. Trouble is it stayed like that for 2 days and left me short of cash.

At least when the order was processed I was only charged the 50% amount. But it leaves you in a tricky situation if you are placing a larger order.

I received one item already (very quick) so cannot complain there and as for the other items I can expect to wait 5-7 days which more than fair.

But again no confirmation email or anything about placing an order. You do get a reference number though.

All in all it can be very frustrating on the money front though.
