Squeegee mop

I need to buy a new squeegee mop - do any of you lovely people have any thoughts on the best one to get, both economically (including the price of replacement sponges) and the best performance - cleaning, drying time etc?

I am adoring this Vileda http://www.vileda.co.uk/uk/products/show/980?hotspot_id=1452

It scourers although not too rough to clean and as you drag it back it dries. It leaves the floor as dry as possible in my opinion.

It cost £6 in Wilkinsons with the refills being around £3. I have to say that the heads last ages. I like it anyway
  • Thank you, that looks really good.

I've got one of these mops, I wouldnt use anything else. Leaves the floor dry, and clean. just remember to soak the head in warm water and dont let it dry out, or it goes hard again, and then you have to resoak it.
but it does love soaking up the water, I used the spare head to soak up the defrosted water in the chest freezer.
can be picked up cheaply. Seen then in a shop called coopers for £5 with a free spare head. I really should get a new one, the heads last a long time.
only replaced it "the head" once in the time i've had it. must be over 12 years.
