I usually get 3 or 4 portions from one of these joints0 -
Perfect, thanks, gammon this way works out far cheaper (especially at that price) than the nasty packets of sliced ham. My challenge is to slice it nicely

The Gammo joints feed 3 adults and 2 x 5yr for a boiled bacon and dumpling dinner, a couple of rounds of sandwiches and scarps enough to make a carbonara or omellete dinner for 4. Look out though. Sometimes they have 20% extra free on the pack.
Sorry - pork loin is 500g so one dinner for us. Gammon is 1kg so as above.0 -
If I could get my car fixed I'd be over there for the chocolate - love a good chocolate bargain and it's perfect for my baking

The chocolate is excellent for traybakes. I can't get the latest offers (Thurs 7 Feb) online yet which is unusual. Anyone else finding that?0

I have never known the 6 per customer limit to be applied to the chocolate and have seen some people at the checkout with 15/20 bars at a time, worth checking at the store if you need to get extra for any reason

torbrex - thanks and same offers here in North East England.
I'm waiting for chicken breasts, diced chicken breasts, steak mince, meatballs and olive oil - all at half-price.
Bacon would be appreciated also.

Hazelmeade Farm Bacon Medallions are on offer at £1.49 (I think £2.29 originally) Will enjoy my usual tour round Lidl on Sunday
