Freezing Stuffing - Can it be done?

Does anyone know if you can freeze stuffing?

I'm talking about the packet mix stuff (Paxo, Whitworth's). I always make more than enough for the 4 of us with a roast dinner and can happily have it for the next couple of days in sandwiches, but I just wondered if I bought it in bulk and made batches of it, would I be able to freeze it?

Any help gratefully received.

OK but some things like a Sunday Lunch surpass even that

Just keep the half packet in the cupboard - theres more deserving things to go in the freezer

I make up a packet into balls and freeze - sure, I could make fresh each time but this method works best for me

I do the same - make up a packet, use what I want, freeze the rest in balls and then next time I just pop a couple into the pan when I am roasting the chicken, or whatever. If you need some stuffing quickly, you can also deep fry them from frozen.

Thank you both for your useful replies - that's just what I thought but didn't want to waste it if it went "funny". I tend to purchase large bags of veg and batch cook it all whilst it's fresh so that I am not using time, energy and electricity during the week when time is tight, so if I can add stuffing to my freezer staples, that's another bonus.

    Thanks again.
