chellenging legality of credit agreement??

Hi All,

I've ben reading through the DFW section for a while but this is the first time I've been brave enough to post, so please bear with me if this has been asked before!

I'm in the process of sorting out all my debts which have now got to the point that I seriously can't afford the repayments and need to sort things out quickly.

I've written reduced payment letters to all my creditors but I've been told that one (which is, very stupidly I know) a payday loan may not be enforceable and I should look into it.

My question is how should I go about this?

The agreement was all done on line, so I haven't physically signed it, onlyprinted my name to represent my signature, It is with a company registered abroad, and it doesn't state the interest, only a 'broker fee' instead (but it does have an APR)

Just wanted to see if anyone could give me any advice really - thanks for reading!

    Hi there
I'm not quite sure about this one, there are debts that are not legally enforcable but I don't know about Payday Loans so I would recommend you ask maybe on the Consumer Group Action Website.

Heres the link, I think you need to register to ask but its simple to do

    http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/#debt-action-group

I think you need to go down the page to where it says General Debt and have a look/post on there. Like us ;) they are a really nice bunch of people.

    HTH ands Good luck
