How important for bridesmaids to wear the same colour shoes?
Our colour theme is teal (proven to be very difficult!) Already got the older girls dresses but not sure about shoes?! One girl has bought silver as that was my 1st idea a few months ago but now they are mentioning they want shrugs etc too (wedding is at end of Feb) so if shrugs are cream will silver shoes go or should they wear cream shoes? Or is it ok if they have different coloured shoes (dresses are long so shoes wont be on "show" really).

Married my wonderful husband February 2013!:happyhear
I want to wear my beautiful wedding dress everyday- it would make shopping so much more fun, I mean, people go shopping in their pyjamas these days.......
Must STOP spending!!!

Proud to be dealing with my debts!

My bridesmaids had dresses which covered their shoes so I asked them to wear their own, comfortable shoes. On the two occasions I've been a bridesmaid I've had to wear new shoes which proved realty uncomfortable after a while and thought I didn't really want my bridesmaids hobbling about :-)
Honestly if you can't see them I don't think it matters, but if you want hem matching then silver sounds nice with teal and white/cream to me.
Congratulations and I hope you have a lovely wedding day xSave £12K 2013 #54 - £4625/£15k£19,625 saved since 2011£50,000 by August 2014SPC #1925 £600 -

Hiya, I'm also having teal and just getting around to Bridesmaid shoes! I think silver is a bit of a nothing colour (not in a bad way!) so it will go with the cream if you do end up having shrugs. Also I have no idea what shoes bridesmaids were wearing at any of the weddings I've been to so I really don't think anyone will notice

It depends on how short the dresses are. mine all wore silver with royal blue dress the shoes were all different if your worry about them matching then you could get them to get ivory satin shoes either dye them yourself or there are many companies online that will dye shoes if you buy the shoes from them CAUTION: wants dyed they might not offer a refund if the wrong colour also you could dye the shrugs as well.:kisses3: Married 29th September 20120 -
I am of the same opinion of Paddles, and have told the bridesmaids I want them to be comfortable rather than matching and hobbling around! Their shoes will show as the dresses are kind of knee length, but I really don't mind. When I was a bridesmaid a couple of years ago we all wore silver shoes, but chose our own styles. I think silver and cream are good options.MFW 2016 #32 £1574.66/£1500:j:j0

I'm sort of going for teal ish I'm going for peacock blue/green. Silver and cream go together so it doesn't really matter
