Car sales job and credit check?

Hi everyone.

Anyone know if a cars sales job will require a credit check? Thinking of applying for a job but doesn't say anywhere on advertisement about credit checks but assuming they would do some kind of check?

Normally its only positions where you are directly employed in the Financial Services industry that require this. There are of course the odd exceptions like the police, security services, possibly the SIA if you want to be a security officer but a car sales person almost certainly not.

Just beware that whoever it is you owe money to doesn't have a financial deal with the dealers you're applying to - last thing you want is to be signing off a loan with a company you're on the run from lol.

Thanks. Currently don't owe anyone money, however have two settled defaults on my credit file!
