Am I being thick?

The sort by end date has disappeared and I can't seem to find any way of looking at comps that end in date order, starting today then tomorrow and so on?

Just sift a few pages & the dates are listed together.

I'm not an end date comper so cannot vouch for how good it is at sorting though.

I'm an end-dater and use http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=72&daysprune=-1&order=asc&sort=title&pp=20&page=1 to start - it lists the comps that end on the 1st first, so 01/03, 01/04 etc then 02/03, 03/03 etc all the way to 31/12.

Skip to around page 25 with my link (may change in time as comps get added / deleted etc) and you should be on ones that end tomorrow 04/02

On the main comps page, scroll down to the bottom and you will see a little button with a drop-down menu that lets you sort the board in different ways.

Choose "thread title" in the drop-down bar and it will sort the pages into date order. You can choose ascending or descending depending whether you want to have the 1st day of the month at the beginning or end.

I want to send comps ending today first, not those ending on 1st March.

This change is a big step backwards IMO

All you have to do is click through to the date you want, it's a few seconds work. People go to a hell of a lot of effort and use a huge amount of their own time to find and post these competitions - so I really can't see why taking less than a minute to find the date would be too much trouble for anyone.

For the two days that the new format was in use a lively few threads could be seen on MSE comps.


It appeared that most favoured the reinstatement of the old way.So here we are & until a better way appears here we may stay.

I think you'll just have to adapt to what we have now.

I've been finding it a bit difficult too today, but I think I've finally got the hang of the sorting and clicking through a few pages thing

I usually put the date I am looking for in the forum search. Will I be missing lots of comps doing it this way:)
