Definitely doing something wrong :))

I did ask on here recently the best method of comping and I have been advised to go to last page and work forward using the green ticks when I enter and red ticks when I dont so I can keep tab on what I have entered.. yesterday I got to page 103 when I go there today there are no green ticks or red crosses and I am back on page 112 even tho I know I definitely got to page 103 yesterday?

Hope someone can help as I dont want to miss any brilliant comps is there a way of doing them by date ending as thats the otyher method I was going to try.

Just sift a few pages & the dates are listed together.

More comps will have been posted, so page 103 will now become page 120 (for example), depending on how many new pages of comps have appeared.

I thought that you would just click the pages & find the date that you needed?

I am totally confused now and believe it or not I am actually very computer literate

On the link you sent me there was a new end date edition post.. on the picture there was an end date tab to click I havent got this.. can you tell me how to get it so they are in date ebding order with nearest date first please?

On the first link in my post you'll see : Page 1 of 223

Just click through those numbered pages until you arrive at the date the is of interest.

I'm not sure of a way of arriving at nearest date first as that should be the last page on that list.I'd just have a play with & see how it works.

As you can probably tell I do not comp by enddate :-)

It appears that you're now on page 112 as 8 pages of competitions have been posted since you were last here, so although you finished comping on page 103, that has been pushed back to 112.

I hope that makes sense.

If it's any consolation, that's how I comp too and it does work.

Thank you so much that does make sense however I have now noticed on all the omps Im certain I have entered there is no tick or cross when I know I did at the time so now it looks like I havent entered any? x

In the last few days the ticks/crosses have been temperamental as to whether they show up or not but it shows when you click into the post. Not that that helps much but at least it confirms whether you have entered or not.
