Providing extra information to lenders

I have a couple of missed credit card payments on my credit history (a year or two ago). I have bank records that clearly show how I am (or was) just a disorganized twit rather than a financially reckless or insolvent one - i.e. I always had a large bank balance but didn't pay off the much smaller credit card debt. Can I provide that data to lenders so that they have more information to judge my credit-worthiness?

The lender couldn't give a monkeys.0 -
There is normally no scope to request such information.
They will rely on the simple fact that you missed payments, or made those payments late and adjust their "score" accordingly.
If the other data forming your application is sufficiently strong and you have a decent loan to value, you should still be accepted.I am a mortgage broker. Thanks for this. What would be your guess as to what might count as "decent" LTV given two missed payments (by the time I get a quote, they'll be about 2 years ago and 3.75 years ago)?kingstreet wrote: »There is normally no scope to request such information.

I also have a whole string of months on one card marked "Not updated". Does that mean they don't have the data?0 -
I'm also wondering how the actual monthly CC balances and payment amounts are taken into account by different lenders. I realise it varies by lender and they don't let on exactly what they do, but I bet people here have some idea...0
