Statement Charges?

Apologies if this is in the wrong place...
I'm trying to remortgage my home and I need 12 months history from my current lender, so from May 06-May 07.
Called my lender, Mortgages 1 PLC who told me I could have May-Dec 06 free but I'd have to pay £51 for a statement covering Jan 07-May 07 and was told these were in the updated T&C's I received in Jan.
Went through the paperwork and can't find a £51 charge anywhere for statements and no where does it say how much statements are anyway.
Should I challenge this, which appears to be disproportionate to the actual cost involved or just pay it?
