Call Credit

I am interested in hearing peoples opinions and experiences with Call Credit

Having never used them I wondered what the reports were like? are they as informative as those produced by experian and equifax? is there a good level of information on them?

Do any of you brokers know which lenders use them if any?

    there's a sample at http://www.mycallcredit.com/sample.asp?sid=sample

( thats if clients get their own... not sure you get detailed payment history as a business)

The reason I ask is my network, being part of the Skipton group of which callcredit is a member is negotiating a special deal for us brokers to credit check on the cheap, apparently MUCH cheaper than the trigold offering with equifax - I'd quite like to use it but not at the expense of my clients applications if it does not contain enough information

I might order my own and see what comes up on it

Thanks, did you ever check it against an equifax report or an experian report to see whats missing on it

I'm wondering if skipton group is promoting call credit to their mortgage intermediaries to increase the usage of the product and the credibility of it...

Yes, I've had both experian and equifax in recent months and I would say that the majority of my stuff was missing from CallCredit!! There were about 2 accounts, very very little detail indeed. So yes, your theory could be right...!

Thanks for that, I'll give the "special offer" a miss then! It would probably be more detrimental to my clients if anything!
