Santander Newbuy DIP - Document Question

We are going through a mortgage application in relation to buying a new build house.
We have a decision in principle from Santander for 95%, our credit files are both in excellent condition with no bad marks what so ever.
Our broker has told us to submit past 3 months bank account statements, these apparently can be internet print offs.
Now, 3 months a exactly 1 day ago I had three DD's rejected on the same day. At the time I spoke with the bank and they refunded any charges and all was sorted (I'd previously asked that these debits were changed to another account, which was not carried out - their fault. This was from an account used only for a handfull of bills. My normal current account is very healthy.
Now this does not show on the internet statement as printed today, but is still shown on my past 3rd monthly statement as received in the post. There are no marks on our credit history etc.
Question:
Is there any chance that Santader will verify our submitted internet printed bank statements with Nationwide or ask for electronic verifying copies from them? I'm worried that transactions from 3 months + 1 day may come to light and I'd then have to explain...
I don't want to fall at the last hurdle, I'd appreciate if anyone knows if the underwriters double check submitted statements with the banks?

If the bank refunded all charges. Which would appear on your statement. Then no issue.
Underwriters are more interested in how you manage your money. Any unusual expenditure or expensive hobbies.0 -
Many thanks
One final question is that I have just deposited around £10k into my current account from the sale of a kit car. This money will help with kitting out the new house when we move in. This will not be used to fund the move.
Would this class as an unusual transaction in terms of the bank credit just before the mortgage application takes place?

Not of interest to your lender. At the underwriting stage for the mortgage. Focus is on how you manage your money day to day.
Your solicitor will verify source of your deposit on behalf of the lender . At the appropriate time.0
