More updates on my DMP

Today I received default notices from Barclaycard and my Natwest credit card. They have offered to freeze interest and charges and accept my proposed payment plan.
So now I have defaults from Natwest ccd, Barclaycard and both capital one ccds accepting my payment plan and freezing interest. Just wait and see what Natwest say regarding my loan and overdraft.
I honestly expected way more hassle than this from my various creditors. This has actually turned out to be a relatively hassle free thing, step change have been wonderful and my creditors understanding. Best of all I can finally get decent night's sleep without worrying about making my next payment to the next creditor along each and every month.

Hey well done! It's just such a relief knowing there is a plan to move forward!
Edit: I just posted on your other thread about the Standing Order. It is possible that you could get your fees refunded plus a goodwill gesture....I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.
I love my job

This is great news, and its cheered me up a bit.
I have just accepted my plan so will be starting my journey on a DMP very soon with stepchange. I have been worrying about getting lots of hassle from creditors so its good to hear some positive stories. It really is hard and very emotional.0 -

Tell me about it, I started the process the beginning of January and it's been a lot of worrying about how creditors will react. Thankfully I know now and they're understanding.0
