If temp workers are to get the same pay as permanent staff then why do permanent staff all get different pay in private companies? I know I got more than everyone so under that ruling if we had taken on a temp who do they get the same pay as, me or the other memebers in the team who were all on different pay.
Did you get the same pay then for the YEAR you were temping?
You are saying you didn't?
Is you complaint about not getting a pay rise now you are permanent, not a temp????
There is no rule that staff should get the same pay at all
Yes I got the same pay when permanent as when I was temporary. There does appear to be a ruling however that I should not have been excluded from the performance related pay scheme.0 -

IF you were on a tixed term thats what it was a fixed term and it ended where you were taken on full time which is a different contract and not entitled to any pay increase surely as its not the same contract? We’ve had to remove your signature. This is true, however I am now a permanent member of staff.
With what total length of service?
I'm not saying you don't have a case. I'm just being practical about making a claim against your current employer.
Had you left I would certainly say have a go. They would most likely have settled and you would have got the extra money.0 -

Over 2 years. There was also a separate bonus scheme announced at the time which specifically stated in writing excludes temporary staff however I received this and questioned if I would need to return it and was told no.0 -

I started on a temporary contract with my employer for a period of one year, after which I was made permanent. The company has a performance related pay increase scheme. When everyone in the company received a letter of their increase I didn't receive anything. I was told that as I was temporary that year I would not be entitled to it. However I went to view my appraisal online and it states that I met the target I was supposed to.
Am I entitled to this increase? I cannot find anything in my contract that states I am not? Help would be much appreciated as I am not getting anywhere with HR.
When did you start on a temporary contract?
When did you become permanent?
When was the pay increase awarded? If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -

Was given a permanent contract in April 2012 which was backdated to Jan 2012.
