I have recieved toda a reply to the request and have

4) A list of 3 credit ref agencies
5) 2 2 fraud agencies

I have a recieved No other information and a letter saying whether certain information disclosed depends on whether it is "personal data "and how it is stored therefore dose no fall into ambent so section 7 of the act .

They wont provide details of any commission paid Any underwriting sheet or record, settlement quotation valuation report or corrispondence held by them on paper as they dont fall into section 7 of the act
they provide transaction history (statement)

Basicaly i have nothing of importance that i can look at i have recieved no phone call history or any personal data I used to get 5/7 calls a week from idem

Could anyone shed some light on what i should recieve and should i write back saying the request has not been fulfilled. I have already complained to the financial ombudsman who is looking into the account should i send this letter with the complaint or should i write to the ICO.

I originally took the loan out with Picture finance back in 2005 they aparently sold it to Idem servicing 23/09/2011 who then whacked £4,421 of interest at trandsfer on the top do i need to send Picture an SAR request as I rang them and they said Idem are now dealing with the account.

Any advice would be greatful

Give the ICO helpline a call on Monday. 0303 123 1113. They should be able to tell you whether they are allowed to miss out what they have.

    I agree with this part,
They wont provide details of any commission paid Any underwriting sheet or record, settlement quotation valuation report or corrispondence held by them on paper as they dont fall into section 7 of the act
    they provide transaction history (statement)

reasons are that it is commercially sensative, inregards to calls that if they have them that far back some only keep for 3 months
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
  • Thanks Chanz4

When people ask for SAR's surely there must be more information than just a statement of the account and a copy of the original agreement it seems like they have something to hide by not supplying anything ?? .Is there anything else you can request.

  • Thanks for the reply.

The SAR is about a joint loan with my wife I sent 2x £10 payments to cover myself and my wife and we both signed the request.

I have recieved 1 of the cheques back as it is in respect of each account not individual persons. I will have to ask why I can't have personal data.

because personal data relating to a 3rd party isnt yours, and without that persons permission it cant be released. Can I write to your boss and ask for copys of your wage slip..

  • With having no joy at the SAR request I still have no information about myself which I think they must have I contacted the regulator and she said any other information that was about 3rd party people should be blanked out but they must still provide you with all information on yourself.

Having just complained about the loan to the F/O and getting 4000+ of interest taken off and 12 months 0% interest should I leave chasing up any more information and rocking the boat again ???
