Lying in bed this morning thinking of all the kerfuffle we have had with the comping board in the last few days and I thought where did this all begin?
Does anyone know?
How did it develop to what we have today?
Who decided on a Comps Board - did Martin put in it in place or was it requested?
I've been comping over six or so years; I started under a different username (it had my name in the title and was therefore a bit too recognisable) and I do remember the E: being started (originally, not yesterday
), can't quite remember what we did before then. (ETA: Just noticed my profile says I joined in August 2006 so I must have been comping longer than I thought).
Any other glimmers from the long distance past would be interesting to hear.
Bit like a Wikipedia of MSE Comping Board.
