hi all,
Looking on moneysupermarket I've found a pretty competitive offer by Leeds BS, however this is marked as "(Direct) Tied" and it does not appear on their website but only on moneysupermarket.
Does anyone know what that means? How could I apply for that mortgage?
Thanks

I have to go out soon, but I'll run it through Mortgage Brain when I get back.I am a mortgage broker. FTB
thanks a lot kingstreet that would be very helpful!0 -
I've updated Mortgage Brain today and there is no 3.54% two year fix coming up under 85% FTB options.
I had broker and direct options switched on.
AFAIK Mortgage Brain has details of all products, but I can't guarantee there isn't something which has been missed.
On the product browser, there's a discount which has an initial rate of 3.54% upto 85%., but the two year fixed at 3.54% is limited to 80%.
I don't know if product codes are shown where you are looking, but the discount code is 13032, while the code for the fix is 2130.
Check the loan to value, as it may be an error in how it has been entered. It's too much of a coincidence there's a product available upto 80% when you've been shown 85%.I am a mortgage broker. When I run a sub-80% scenario through I get;-
Direct fee-assist
3.54% fixed until 31/01/2015
Free valuation
£199 booking fee
£35 telegraphic transfer fee
£65 deeds fee at repayment
£134 sealing fee at repayment
Early repayment charge £199 + 3% until 31/01/2015.
I suspect an error in how the deals has been entered where you are looking. Does the Leeds website have the deal under 80% FTB options?I am a mortgage broker. sounds like moneysupermarket is wrong and that mortgage doesn't exist or that this 'tied' product is 'tied' to something else that is not available to the public... either way sounds like i'll have to exclude this option
thanks again0
