  • Just ordered, at that price it's a sure winner and I am planning on getting a few Michel Roux books anyways as i feel he has something to say to enhance my recipe book collection.

    Amazon have put their price right up to £11.12!

    If anyone still wants to buy it there is another seller on there offering it at £3.35 but you'd have to pay £2.80 del on top.
  • Amazon are cheeky like that, behaving just like Tesco with their variable and unpredictable pricing strategy. I believe it is just to get us rushing to grab the bargain/offer etc ON THEIR TERMS not on ours.

    I find the camelcamelcamel site a really useful tool for checking price history and trying to ascertain if an apparent bargain really is worth grabbing....although you're absolutely right, they know exactly what they're doing and it works!
