If it's not in the title it would be useful if the first person to enter added it as a comment - I do this but sometimes over a hundred people have thanked.

That's a great idea, as I also avoid like & shares these days. To be honest I tend to hover over the thread title anyway which will bring up the description of the comp, and that usually mentions Like & share, but if it was actually in the title it would save me even doing that. Every second counts hey!

I think if a lot of comps have it in the title then others will realise that this is what is usually done and will probably do it themselves if they come to post a comp.

I posted a comp earlier and put that it was an app in the title because I know that I don't enter the like & share ones and it annoys me when it's not in the title. I hadn't even seen this thread at that point so think that just as people started putting TW or FB in the title then eventually app or l&s may be added (assuming there is room anyway).

I don't think most people read the comping guide before posting (I didn't anyway and I've still only read the part about the IPM and companies that don't want comps listed) so although you could add it to there I don't think it would help that much.

Seeing as like & share comps are technically against Facebook's rules, I would also appreciate this. The few times I've succumbed to the L&S method due to a prize I really wanted, haven't been worth it with the grief I get from friends on my Facebook.

I now red cross all the like and share ones.

I don't post l&s and there are times I forget to post that it's a facebook comp but I have so much to do with trying to enter competitions myself that, at times, I will post a comp and move on to the next.

Appreciate many would find it useful but it's just one of those things. Comping takes up a lot of time that I don't tend to think about the finer details when posting

Completely understand - sometimes I am in a rush when posting and often think - Oh I forgot to mention that! I will try and post either APP, L&S, Rafflecopter in the title when posting up Facebook comps. All we can all do is try and if we forget then it isn't the end of the world. We have to appreciate the time people put into posting comps at all
