My TV arrived........ Eventually

Sorry if I'm putting this in the wrong place, maybe discussion thread is more appropriate but as it is relating to a win I thought here would be best.
Thanks, once again, to Aggie for posting the comp that I won the TV from . It arrived yesterday evening, eventually, after having been wrongly delivered in the morning to someone who lives a couple of streets away! Thankfully they were honest and kind enough to come and deliver it to me last night. They could have quite easily kept it and I'd have been none the wiser as the address it was delivered to was not even remotely like mine, it wasn't even the same number! Any way it's here now and I am going to let puzzler know so that they can give the courier a telling off etc.
Only thing is I'm not 100% sure the TV is actually the correct one ( It could only happen to me!) The comp was called 'Spring into digital' and so I assumed , maybe wrongly as I am very good at getting things wrong, that the TV would be digital which, the one I got, isn't. I don't want to make a fuss if what I've received is what was stated in the original comp but equally if they've 'shortchanged' me .........
I've Pm'd Aggie to see if she has the original magazine still, so that I can compare what was offered to what I've received. The way I look at it you can't advertise the prize of a ferrari and then give away a mini! It's the same principle. What do you guy's think, assuming the TV should have been Digital, should I make a fuss or am I being ungrateful.

Definitely chase it up. If they don't give you the prize stated, they should give you something of equal or higher value. Who did you win it from?0

I wonder what the rules/regulations/laws relating to prizes and comps are saying? But personally, I would ask them.0

I would definately chase it up. I had terrible trouble getting a prize from puzzler (won on 23 Jan prize arrived after several emails and phonecalls mid April - and it was only a dvd & goody bag!)
I think the PR company I dealt with was DSA - they weren't terribly helpful either - hopeful yours is different.
Good luck!

I've noticed some T&C's on comps at the bottom in small letters say something like 'the promotor has the right to change the prize to another item of similar description or value' or something along those lines. Maybe it was one like that.
But well done anyway :j :j2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040
