Hi
Does anyone know of a the formula I use to calculate how much income a pension pot can give me?
I'm trying to compare different scenarios on a spreadsheet and can't work out how the pension calculators get to the numbers they do.
Thanks
E

I presume it would be based on compound interest and possibly fluctuate with the likes of inflation.
You'd need to know the variable like interest rates, though you'd have to estimate inflation.0 -

In terms of income from a drawdown? or an Annuity?
Neither calculation is straightforward - it would really be possible to arrange on a spreadsheet I doubt (especially as Annuity rates change daily)0
