Trying to set up an IVA and...

I'm trying to set up an IVA at present and they need proof of the rent I pay. This is absolutely fine however I pay more for my room as it is larger;my flatmate's room isn't even big enough for a double bed plus he commutes to London (costing him £340 per month), so doesn't want to swap rooms.
I was told by Payplan that my creditors will probably be unhappy about me paying more rent, but there is absolutely nothing I can do about this. Every other utility is split down the middle. Payplan say they need confirmation from him of the the rent he pays. He said he's happy to write a letter to them but is unhappy about the creditors knowing his name, etc - he just feels that this is my issue and therefore none of his business. Has anyone had a similar experience? Would Payplan give my creditors my flatmate's name and details in this instance?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I felt like an IVA is the right thing to do for me but I'm feeling so uneasy abut it now

Ask payplan whether they'd be happy for a letter off him which didn't include his personal details...
failing that do you have any bank statements which show the amount he pays you or a tenancy agreement he may have signed stating what he would pay?Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
Que sera, sera.
