picked up two sets of 6 in bath today at lunch, had a few probs as staff in tesco express by petrol station thought it was a bit weird and then the manager overrode it to two fro £10 but we said we didn't want them as they had said they were £5.60, didn't seem worth arguing, but popped to another tesco round the corner and got another 6 pleased my collegue and me no end as I've just got a dishwasher with our new rental place and realised how much they normally cost! hehe xxx

If I had known it was going to be such a pain I would not have bothered going out.
Went to our Tesco Express and the shelf was empty so my partner asked if they had anymore and the lad went and got some. I wanted 6 for us then 3 each for my friend and partners mum as they do not have an express near them. I paid for my 6 at the self serve while the lad put the others on the shelf, my partner started to take 6 off the shelf when the lad took them off again saying he could not have them as it would leave them out of stock!!!!!!! My partner pointed out it wouldn't as there would be 2 left, he said it didn't matter and to maybe come back tomorrow!! my partner asked to speak to the manager who said something different and that it was because it was an offer it was limited to 4 per customer, my OH said show me where those exclusions are and she said I carn't but its because you are both together you cannot have 2 lots, my OH said but we are paying separately then she said I would get into trouble if I let you buy them now but if you were to come back and I did not see you then it wouldn't matter, my OH gave up after pointing out she would not have seen him this time had he been allowed to get them off the shelf and go through self serve till and it was only because the lad went and got her that she knew and how can she get into trouble for what people buy through self serve.
Never heard such a load of rubbish, at least they could have stuck to the same story.

Someone just reported on hukd that it is fixed in their store so perhaps it's been fixed nationwide.
