Hi
On the subject of mileage...flat rate this year is 45p, can anyone tell me what the flat rate covers, I know its fuel, insurance, repairs and tyres. I am self employed and have AA Breakdown at £180 a year, does it include this or can I claim part of it back on say a, 40%/60% ratio, I've trolled through all the online guides but cant find anything on breakdown cover, I do need this as part of my self employment I drive constantly. Thanks in advance for any help. (Sorry I posted this at the bottom of a thread not realising it was an old one (havent been on here for ages and forgot) )

No other motoring expenses other than HP interest may be claimed if you use this method.

And remember, the rate reduces once you've done more that 10,000 miles in any given year.No longer a spouse, or trailing, but MSE won't allow me to change my username...0
