I've posted my comments here. I can see the benefits of the new end date function. I cannot see any benefit to removing the end date from the titles of posts.

Yes - on balance I am opposed to the removal of the option to put end dates in titles.

The various work-arounds that are currently being used and will no doubt continue to be developed will mean that the ban will be unworkable without excessive heavy-handed monitoring and interference by MSE and will cause a great deal of confusion and resentment in the meantime

Yes I am opposed to the new end dates in there present format

but I am not totally against the new end date format as I think that with some tweeking I:E being able to have tags like Facebook, Twitter , Daily, Weekly , Blog etc next to the new end dates and the ability to sort by tags then it could work to our advantage

Update I have just gone to the main page to have another look and I have to say that I absolutely HATE the new format :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Yes... It sounded like a good idea when it was first suggested, but now that it has been put into practise and the end dates on titles removed makes the whole forum confusing to say the least...

It does not 'view' well. I am an end date comper but sometimes 1 day competitions are added and so you need to keep checking the list and it is so difficult to see the dates, previously they jumped out at you now you need to spend more time looking.
