Thanks for the notice. I've just cashed in all my crappy Nectar points (worth surprisingly little after 8 years of shopping twice a week at Sainsburys, Dulux store, etc). I only got the card to stop the check-out person from saying "Do you have a Nectar card?" every bloody time!

£80 for me too! Waiting for a very pricey Le Creuset dish to come on Amazon Warehouse.

Vouchers meant to arrive within 3 working days as it says in confirmation emil. Bet they have a backlog! I got the email a while ago telling me of the change. You can still collect points on Expedia which I think is quite good!

    Dear Collector,

Thank you for spending your points on a Nectar treat.

The treat(s) shown below have been ordered from your
account and are now on their way to you.

Your rewards will normally be with you in 10 working days.
Magazine subscriptions may take up to 12 weeks, depending on
the title's issue frequency. Amazon.co.uk vouchers will
be emailed within 3 working days.

This email is an acknowledgement of your order and your
contract to purchase the product(s) is not complete until
    the product(s) are despatched.

We hope you enjoy your treat!

    The details are as follows:

    Treats Details

    Reward Supplier: Amazon
    Reward: £20 Gift Certificate
    Quantity required: 4
    Points required: 4,000

    Total Points spent 16,000

Thanks op for pointing this out. I did not realise you could collect points through Amazon, never mind spend them ! Just cashed some in in the nick of time.

Thanks OP for reminder, have had points building up on my card for years so decided they're better as amazon credit, so got £120 worth :)
  • For those who, like me, have only just seen this, it may not be so bad. Just looking through Nectar emails and found this:

spacer.gifSave for Double Value this summer
If you're saving up for an extra special treat, you can make your points go even further during our Double Value event this summer. Your points will be worth twice as much – so, every 500 points you put towards selected Nectar Rewards will be worth £5.00 instead of £2.50*.

It will not be able to be used on Sainsbury's shopping, but everything else I assume :)
  • Noooooo:eek:

Had been waiting for double value for years, finally gave up and spent nearly all points on Amazon voucher 10 days ago....

Only just caught this thread heading, unfortunately... :(

Nectar have indeed removed almost all trace of Amazon from the site...

    Too late.
