    If you bought the PC before last November, it's not W8. Vista was phased out in 2010 with the arrival of W7.
    There is no such thing as Windows 9, you are referring to Internet Explorer 9. That is your web browser, not an operating system.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
