Ill health retirement- actuarial delay

I have been granted ill health retirement from an ex-employer. Due to life expectancy it has been agreed by the trustees that the sum can be commuted to a one off payment.
It is a money purchase scheme and has been with the actuaries over 2 months now, with still no info forthcoming despite my phone calls. How long is reasonable for them to work out the protected rights element? and who should I go to with a complaint -Pensions advisory or pensions ombudsman?

Thank you will give pensions advice a call I think.
I really can't believe the time it is taking. They said well every case is different. Surely there must be some formula allready set out for whatever they are calculating. Presumed it was protected rights as said about spouse pension.0
