Can anyone give me some advice on shopping for a single veggie on a tight budget due to a couple of unexpected bills please.
I dont eat any meat but do eat eggs and cheese. I do eat quorn. like most fruit and veg not to keen on tomatos but will eat in sauces etc.
Just want to cut back this month to get back on track. I work full time, have a freezer and microwave.
Thanks

I'd make a list of what you have in and plan meals as much as I could using just that, then shop around it. Stick to cheaper veg like potatoes, onions, carrots, cabbage, and pulses or dried soya mince. Do a shop on your chosen supemarket's site to whittle stuff down if not needed and jiggle your plan to bring it down in cost (mysupermarket isn't good for comparison imo as whichever you choose as your main shop usually comes out as one of the cheapest as it quite often throws up standard brand or brand items for the other shops as the equivalents to economy brands selected on main shop.)Love and compassion to all x0
