I,m in the position to pay my mortgage off. Is it worth keeping a small mortgage or not. Am i just best paying it off

Obviously, this would depend on your own circumstances, but if you have no other debt, and your mortgage interest rate is higher than the rate you could earn on your savings, then yes, pay it off.
