Help with Multiple Entries please!

I just wondered if anyone has any advice on how to open a website several times in one go, for example with ITV competitions where you submit six entries per phone number. I've done it by accident a few times but I don't know how I did it!

It will depend on what browser you are using (Google Chrome, IE, Firefox etc)?

I mostly use IE9 but if a link doesn't work I have Chrome and Firefox as back-ups.

IE- I don't know how you can choose to open say 6 duplicate tabs in one go but if you are on the MSE page with the link to the comp you can right click on the link to get the open in new tab option and just do that the number of times you want (I am sure there are more elegant ways to do this)

I do this, or just open once, fill in using Roboform and submit, then press F5 to refresh the page and keep count or enter until it tells me I've entered the max number of times.

I'm using firefox (but I think it works on IE) and when doing the ITV comps I hold down the CTRL button and click on the link to the entry form however many times I'm allowed to enter whether that be 3 or 6. This opens the entry form in a new tab(s)
I find this much quicker than doing the RightClick + open as new tab

On Chrome, I open the link, fill in the form and at the top where the tabs are, left click and click 'duplicate' five times. This fills the form in 6 times in total and the only thing I need to do is click the T&Cs and reload the robofrom

This now only works now on the Daybreak comps unfortunately. It used to work on all the ITV ones before they changed the forms

Just tried this and it works in Chrome too. It is very quick. The only problem for me is that I forget the answer to the question, so I like to have it open in a window next to the answer.

I often forget the answer too..(there's only 3 options but I still confuse & second guess myself ) but since the original page remains open, all be it 2 or 4 tabs back, I don't find it much to quickly look back

The worst mistake I make is when the answers are like this:

    a) a bell
    b) a bike
    c) a bow

If the answer is b, I sometimes forget and put "a" in because I hear it in my head so many times :rotfl:

Anyway, back on topic, if using a Mac, use the cmd key and click links and it should open in a new tab without stealing focus from the one you are looking at

If you use an external mouse, you can also usually click the mouse-wheel to open in a new tab too.
