Looking for a remortgage

i have had a few quotes on a possible remortgage and all the ones ive had i dont really like the sound of, people on here have messaged me telling me to shop around more but how do i go about shopping around?
the advisors in estate agents seem to have access to the same market and the 2 quote sive had from them are roughly the same. it looks as if due to my sub prime route im gunna have to pay an average apr of 6.3 to 8 percent. the higher rate deals give me more ltv than the lower rate ones but i want and need a comfortable medium, nice rate, nice repayment and nice amount of cash left over for my family after, somer where in region of 5 to 6 thousand pounds.
any ideas?

If any advisers have PMed you ( without you first contacting them) please report them to the abuse team. Since last December this ban on "touting" is part of the (written) rules of that allow brokers to come to this forum.

I am aware of other users being approached this week!
