I notice with European vendors selling into the UK, if you tick the box to say that this is a business transaction and the business is VAT registered that the vendors sales tax is removed (namely talking about items/ services supplied electronically)
Firstly, is this applicable to those who are on the GB flat rate scheme given ordinarily you are unable to recover VAT other than on larger capital purchases and secondly, if it isnt, is it the merchant or the customers responsibility to know this as simply completing the questions asked triggers the removal of tax (I assume the vendor)
