hi,
I am after a bit of advice from all you lovely folk. Since joining the forum about a month ago I have been working really hard to try and get all my finances in order.
I currently have a loan from Lloyds tsb with £5500 left outstanding apr 12.9% with PPI which cannot be cancelled unless i cancel the loan and take out a new one. I currently have four years left.
Lloyds tsb credit card £840.00 not sure of the apr but interest of 1.492% per month
HSBC credit card £480 interest free until Apr 08:T .
I have checked by credit rating and i know it is excellent so thought i would apply for northern rock loan for the Lloyds loan & credit card, they have offered APR 10.9%. Payments would be £166.
I currently pay £161 for the loan and pay £140 to the lloyds credit card to try and clear it ASAP but it is a bit of a struggle.
Do you think I am best staying as I am or taking the northern rock loan.
Sorry if this is really obvious but i am new at this and finance is really not my thing but i am trying.
Thanks

If your credit rating is actually excellent then i'd have thought you could get a lower apr than 10.9%. Just a thought.Unsecured DFD Aug '07 :jBought grown-up house Feb '08Mortgage Balance [strike] £165,000[/strike]£147,500 :rolleyes:0
