Has anyone heard of this company?

They use stock images on the website and a picture of a college in the usa or where ever, what does that tell youabout them, they have no confidence in themselves.

They are not on the list of Registered Training Organisations at the Skills Funding Agency as of January 2013. This is the list of organisations that claim public funding for training as a direct contract (over £500k).

Neither are they on the Subcontractor Register which gives the names of all organisations that subcontract to the direct contracted organisations above for public funded training (aggregate over £100k p.a. in total).


May be perfectly legitimate but not claiming over £100k in public funding.

Site does look a bit cheap but as said they may well be legitimate.

They are using the same phone number as bssecurity.com I can see.

You might find someone who knows more on the http://www.closeprotectionworld.com/forum.php as this is quite a poular UK based forum for that indusrty.

The website promises "client will get fully satisfaction of our services", which hardly inspires confidence.

Business appears to be ADVANCE TRAINING ACADEMY (UK) LTD company no 07091737 last known to have a net book value of minus £2,105. Sole shareholder and director appears to be one Sofiqul Islam who also has an interest in the aforementioned BS SECURITY SERVICES LIMITED company no 06848100 which shares the same registered office at Space House in London.

Nothing known against, but caveat emptor as always.

Our net book value is a minus, a lot larger than that, however the company has been, and remains, largely profitable.

As mentioned, there could be nothing wrong, but it does seem a little strange here.
