hi
I ran up alot of debts while at univeristy and thus has given me a really bad credit rating as ive bein floating in and out of jobs finding it hard to keep up with repayments. I thought i hit the jackpot when i found a pre-signed cheque with a money sum of £4,200 already written on the cheque but no name on it, while thinking of my debts and student loan i stupidly
put my name on the cheque and tried to cash it, thinking i wasnt doing much wrong at the time because i didnt falsely sign the cheque or put the sum onit, after a week the bank written to me asking me to resolve a issue with them, i openly admitted cashing the cheque and they said that i will have to repay the money which i was fine about, they also said my account would be monitored, but after another week they informed me my bank will be closed and now it has been. I have now found a full time job so i can pay my debts off, but the MAIN problem is that i need a account of my own to pay my wages into, but i have bein rejected for accounts at natwest, i fear i have a cifas against my credit file to go with my poor credit, is there anything i can do as i need a bank account to pay my wage into the pay my debts, i feel as this is a never ending circle, no account means i cant pay debts or receive my wages.
Any help would be greatfull
Thanx:D

sorry don't know what cifas is?
but have you tried getting a BASIC bank account, ie one with no card, no overdraft etc. Smile do one I think and I don't think they credit check it either
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

You would probably find it useful to get copies of your credit reports. Any cifas markers will be on them.
