Comping- no wins for ages

Hey everyone,.. I have been comping for about 13 months now. I did win a £250?suitcase voucher about 9 months ago, and that's it
I enter 1000's of comps a month. Average about 80-90 a day.
And haven't won anything.
Am kinda thinking is it worth my time.,, I know that nothing is guaranteed and if you do win its a bonus. But any tips or others that feel this way and enter similar or more even?

I've only been comping for 3 weeks now.
Did about 70-100 comps a day the first week and now do about 100-200 a day and I've not won anything yet.

I think if I went months and months without winning anything I'd be a little peeved!

I dont have any tips though other than keep at it, I'm sure you're due a big win soon :)

One thing's for sure, if you stop entering, you have even less chance of winning. Just enter all the while it's fun, if you plod along expecting to win it can very soon get really gutty, believe me, I've been there. Now it's something I do to pass the time and any wins are a bonus.

I think luck plays apart. Some people are luckier than others.

Never assume you will win, take a break for a week and then get back into it. You'll come back feeling refreshed. Enter things you really want to win as well, nothing worse than a WEM for something you can't or will never use :) xxx

  • Just keep going, you never know what's around the corner! Tomorrow is like a fresh start in comping, you could go ages without a win but tomorrow could be the day! I don't enter expecting to win because then you get bored very quickly, it's the excitement of it all that keeps me going, not knowing what could turn up! I also find that looking at the pictures on the winners board keeps me going if i get a bit fed up.

Keeping plodding through them, you will win eventually. However I would say it is easy to enter incorrectly, for example the comps where you have to tick a dot (choice of say 3 answers) often it comes up with login/register. On many sites you need to go back and do the comp again. Then there are ones where after entering you need to click on adverts - I usually tick the "not interested" option, but until you have done this you will not be entered.

Re Facebook comps there is quite often a tab at the top of the page for you to fill in your details, so just liking and sharing will not lead to a win.

Hope this helps a bit and good luck to you x

  • This is my third week of comping and have won two prizes so far. Are you entering competitions that are ending soon or just any you can find? The ones you have entered may not have ended yet!
