Has anyone ever won anything on Extreme Giveaways https://www.facebook.com/pages/Extreme-Giveaways/112312732264371

I entered a comp to win a Nokia Lumia 920, and just googling today to see if I'd won anything anywhere I found a post that I was one of the 12 winners last week and to submit my details, which I've now done.

However the entire post and the original competition post has disappeared from their Facebook Wall, the only reason I found the 'winners list' post was from the cached page on Google.

So now i'm worried that they are just going to deny all knowledge, ignore me or say that I should have replied a week ago. Really annoys me with these comps when they don't contact you, that unless you check the page manually you don't actually know if you've won or not.

Any experience/advice on this one?

In my opinion the page seems to be fake (I could well be wrong). They giveaway extremely high end gadgets ie Macbook Pros, LED TVs etc in large quantities yet there is no business info at all.

Even the page name strikes me as odd - how do this "company" make profit? what exactly IS their company?

Sorry but I don't think you'll be seeing the phone, as I say I could very well be wrong but I'd avoid the page personally.

I think you could be right to be honest, I just don't see what they've got to gain apart from getting peoples hopes up - I've not given out any passwords or bank details etc or had to install any apps - I've changed my password just in case though.

And you never know a nice pretty phone might turn up, I doubt it though :-D

If I get any feedback or hear anything dodgy about them I'll post on here to warn other people.

I always wonder what they've got to gain from doing it too, makes no sense to me - could be doing better things with their time, like comping
