I want to buy a multitap for PS2

I want to buy a multitap for a PS2 but I'm confused.

We have a PS2 with model no. 39003 on the back. I've looked on Ebay for a multitap but they say the multitaps are "compatible with Playstation 2 30000, 50000 and the slim series 70000 model". I've emailed the sellers but they just quote the same thing.

Can anyone confirm from experience whether they would be okay with our machine -it's about 4 years old and one of the fat ones - ie before slimline PS2s came out.

Thanks for any advice.

It will work the 39001, 39002, 39003 and 39004 are all included in the 30000 series so don't worry about it.

Thanks for that - I wasn't sure and didn't want to buy one and find it didn't fit/work.
