Removing stickers from inside books

I'm asking this here as I'm sure someone will have an idea of what I can do :rotfl:

When I was at primary school I was presented with books for various achievements (Good attendance, excellent work etc) and inside the cover of these books are "stickers" for want of a better word. I want to keep the stickers if possible but I don't necessarily want to keep the books so has anyone any ideas how I could remove them without damaging the book or sticker?

Here's a picture so you can see what I'm dealing with, the book is a ladybird one and they're stuck to the inside cover in the majority of cases:rolleyes::

This might take a lot of patience, but I would recommend either an iron on low heat to remove the stickers (it will melt the glue, and allow you to lift easily - and carefully - with a sharp knife).

Alternatively, I use a hairdryer to remove sticky labels from shoes - this might work on stickers on books as well? Heat up the sticker, and it should peel away easily.
