Magician/entertainer
Games like pass the parcel/musical chairs etc
Jelly
Lashings of ginger beerLurking in a galaxy far far away...0 -
Sweet buffet would be a good addition too. If you're thinking of extras, you could have lots of different inflatables including the gladiator ones. Pass the parcel, musical statues and other kiddies games could be played too. Bet you can't wait!0

I had a kids birthday party for my 18th and it was amazing (and made a change from everyone getting lashed).
First of all, rope in a few people to organise games who don't mind not taking part (ie. a lot of party games require music - pass the parcel etc).
Buy a book of kids party games - you won't need anything fancy, although start saving newspapers, they can be used for a whole variety of games and pass the parcel layers!
Put on a buffet with all the old favourites, pink lemonade, cherryade, party rings, cocktail sausages, cheese and pineapple on sticks stuck into a foil covered potato....
If the venue has a freezer then jelly and ice cream is amazing (you can ball up ice cream in advance and put in fairy cake baking trays to keep them separate so it's just a case of quickly dishing up).
Make party bags for everyone to go home with.
Maybe get a cake with a picture of you as a kid on (supermarkets often offer this).0 -

How about the 'large' games for the garden, like snakes and ladders, noughts and crosses, connect 4; twister?
We had these all at our wedding 5 1/2 years ago, and the adults after a few beers were up for playing this kind of games, that I had provided for the kids. Twister was at times was very funny.
Also recommend getting bottles of bubbles! not the little wedding kind of ones, but the cheap ones out of somewhere like tescos/poundland, and doing a sweet buffet.2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -
sounds amazing, - buffet wise def agree with the cheese/pineapple, sausage rolls etc, choc finger and those party rings biscuits.
Games agree twister would go down a treat, - if you do pass the parcel have a couple of parcels going round at the same time
What about a paddling pool with ducks and play hook the duck xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
I'd try to turn the kids' games into more adult versions...like make pass the parcel into a drinking game with things like the pre-filled shots hidden between layers.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0

I did a kids party for actual kids and had popping candy which all the parents in their 20/30s went mad for
I would say jelly and icecream and also candyfloss machine! If it will be dusk or dark you can even make 'glowing' candyfloss

Huge props to make you all feel like small kids?0

Sweets-wise head to Poundland, at the moment they are selling retro sweeties-nerds, popping candy, gobstoppers, refreshers.0
