Hello
Im confused and need some help with a letter I've just received from the taxman.
It's about 4 sheets long and at the bottom says P800T - which has a load of calculations about payments dating back to ten years ago.
It says one of the sheets You did not receive all the benefits of your tax free allowance and on the othet Your total income exceeds your total allowance.
It says a payable order is issued but all there is in th envelope is these four sheets with the calculations on - do I have to pay this money or are they paying me? One sheets for just over £700 the other for £255.
Has anybody else received these?
