Using cooked sausages in risotto?

I made a toad in the hole on Sunday and kept some cooked sausages by to use for sausage sandwiches on Monday. DH decided not to have them on his sandwiches so I have still got 2 cooked sausages in my fridge. Will they be alright to use tonight in a risotto? Should I chop them then warm them through before adding to the rice? I hate waste so am loathe to throw them away but don't want to cause food poisoning either! Thanks.

If they've been in the fridge I'm sure they'll be fine.
An alternative to risotto is an all in one sausage curry - I do it regularly and it's lush.
Post if you want the recipe and I'll dig it out - I do it by eye now so can't remember the quantities etc.Oh dear, here we go again.0 -
Just chop 'em up and chuck 'em in they'll be fine.0
