Bodyshop Glitch 50% off some items & free body butter when you spend £18

Just spotted a glitch on the bodyshop site...

Bit tricky to get to work and takes some playing around with so don't bother if you want an easy deal... this is how I did it...

Add a few of these 50% off items to your basket:
http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/whats-hot/50-off-moisturisers-masks-and-exfoliators.aspx

Enter the code posted on the front page on the site at the checkout. (In purple box bottom left hand side)
http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/index.aspx

Now delete ALL items in your basket.

Next go and add one of the free body butters:
http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/whats-hot/free-200ml-body-butter.aspx

Now go back and add £18 worth of the skincare products to your basket to qualify for the free body butter (Add £20 for free delivery) - for me it only worked if I ordered the same item for some reason...

I first added moringa body butter 200ml, then added 4x 50ml vitamin e night creams. Got all 5 items for £22 delivered. Went through checkout and paid fine.

Sorry for being dim but I'm not sure where the glitch is? You got 4 creams that are £2 each so that's £8 so the body butter has cost you £ 14 not free? I'm probably missing something obvious though!

Thanks for this, this also works if you add enough 50% stuff back into the basket that ORIGINALLY came to over £20, however I haven't yet found a work-around for free delivery plus this glitch......

Also I didn't need to do the first step, all I did was put the code in and then add the 50% items, could be luck of course....

I also had no luck trying to add a third different item, I put in 2 different vitamin c items, fine, then added the warming mineral mask, glitch not working, then I tried the mineral mask and one vit c item, fine, added a third different item, not working!

So I added 2 each of two different items and it didn't work, so it seems you an add two different items but only one of each, or just one item in multiples, but as the OP says it doesn't work with all items and you do need to play about a bit.

Something else I found, if you add one of the same item 4 times, it doesn't work, if you add 4 of the item at once, it works - very weird! It also works in multiples of 2, I got.....

Code in Basket
Free Aloe body butter
Qty 2 (added at once) Warming mineral mask £10 - 50% off = £5
Qty 2 (added at once) Vitamin C Microdermabrasion £13 - 50% off = £6.50
Total = £23 delivered
