Hi there, I was wondering if you guys could help me, I have debated an O2 debt with Lowell but am having difficulty with their reply.
The letter they sent me states under reference number: NO DMC AVAILABLE what does this mean?
Also, I requested a copy of my executed credit agreement but they have come back to me saying it's a service agreement(?) does this mean I have no right to see it? Further more I don't remember having an account with O2 in 2010 and have no idea how it could run up £728!! I currently have an Orange contract. What are my rights and what can I do??
Any help you guys could give would be amazing, thanks.

service agreements are accepted by inserting and using the sim card, to clarify the debt ask for copy of the bills.Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Don't know what NO DMC AVAILABLE means - I'd hazard that its their internal name for the template letter they have sent you - and it should have been removed but hasn't been.
They are correct that a phone contract isn't covered by the consumer credit act, so their is not consumer credit agreement for you to request under that act.
But they do need to prove that the debt exists and is yours.
So what have they sent/you sent so far? Have you sent the prove it letter at any point (note this is not the CCA request)? Letter when you know nothing about about the debt - AKA "Prove it" letterA smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
All they have said is a letter saying they are looking into it?!?! I haven't admitted to the debt! So I can still ask them to prove it how can they prove it?0

Yes you can still ask them to prove it - or wait to see what they send.
They'll likely send copies of the bills, which as a starting point will show the dates and address in question.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
